The printed material used is from two recycled 1976 National Geographic World Atlas's. Each die cut into 957 circles that were off set. Allowing me to achieve a more accurate representation of the worlds mass. The entire piece consists of 1,914 individual circles and is mounted onto 3/4" plywood. The outer perimeter is wrapped with a Zinc banding that has been attached with nails and screws and hand finished by hammer.
